Brand Identity Design is our most foundational service. We build the visual language your business communicates with: the logo, the colours, the type system, and the set of rules that make every future design decision easier and more consistent.
A brief from a new Bergamo client often arrives with the words: 'we just need something clean and professional.' What that usually means is: 'we have been working with a visual identity that does not fit who we are any more, or one that was never really fit for purpose to begin with.' We have heard a version of this from a restaurant owner in Città Alta, an architect in Bergamo Sud, a start-up product company from the Sebino lakeside area.
The work starts with a proper brief. Not a form with tick-boxes — a conversation about what the business actually does, who it is for, what the competition looks like, and where the brand needs to work: on a website, on printed materials, on packaging, on signage. The answers shape everything that follows.
We produce three distinct logo concepts. Not three colour variations of the same idea — three genuinely different directions. After a structured feedback session, one direction is developed into a complete brand system: primary logo, secondary mark, colour palette, typography pairing with hierarchy guidance, a basic icon set, and usage documentation.
The deliverable is a set of source files your designer or developer can actually use: Illustrator source, SVG exports for web, PNG exports at various sizes, and a brand guidelines PDF that explains how each element should and should not be applied. We do not deliver a Canva file.
For businesses in the Bergamo area and across Lombardy, we also understand the market context: the blend of industrial heritage and high-craft tradition that characterises businesses in this part of Northern Italy, and the international client base that many of them serve.
Laboratorio Crespi, a three-generation Costa Volpino leather goods workshop, rebranded from a generic logotype to a distinctive mark inspired by Bergamo Alta's medieval stonework. Direct retail revenue grew 240% in the 8 months following the rebrand launch.
A Brescia architecture studio replaced their WordArt-era logo with a considered brand system. New website enquiries from premium residential clients increased 180% in the first year.
